A Commitment to the South West

Appadene is a family business established in 1993. The business originally focused on the milling of structure timber and the provision of quality timber for furniture craftsmen.

The business evolved to expand its operating capacity and diversify into value added products. These products include timber flooring, blinds, doors, panelling, and more recently fine furniture.

In 2001 the business was recognised as the 'Southern Districts Small Business of the Year'. Appadene has continued to be recognised, receiving a South West Business Merit Award in May 2004 and the 'Forestry Minister's Award for Excellence' in November 2003 and December 2004.

In 2004, Appadene also received a Western Australian Timber Industry Award for 'Excellence in the Innovative Use of Native Hardwood and Plantation Timber'.
